Angel

If you've ever watched the smoke from incense as it ascends (and then disappears), one thing you'll notice (especially if you happen to twirl the stick) are these fabulous swirls. When working in the digital darkroom, I try and zero in on the shot that captured something unique -- and this one just struck a chord with me. I was listening to the live version of Angel by Sarah McLachlan while post-processing (which is usually how I name the smoke pieces). This process was inspired by the artistry of Graham Jeffrey of SensitiveLight.com.
